Dec. 27th, 2005 01:31 pmYAY INTERNET ACCESS. I missed you, baby.
Have not even *looked* at my flist, or Yuletide or ANYTHING, but I found an Internet cafe here in St. Maarten. So I have half an hour here, while my little sister gets her hair braided, and omg. I MISSED YOU GUYS. Internet is 75 cents/minute on the boat, so that's just not happening. The cruise is more fun than I was expecting, though, especially after the first day of aimless wandering and reading through all my books in like a minute flat. I finally met people my age who don't wear backwards white baseball caps or have blonde hair and giggle a lot. In fact, I got to spend like an hour yesterday talking about Batman. It is SO NICE to meet people who know their way around the toonverse, dear LORD.
Not a lot going on, really. We spent two days in Ft. Lauderdale, met up with some friends of my parents, then got on the boat and spent two days at sea. Now we're in St. Maarten, which appears to consist entirely of jewelry stores staffed by extremely helpful Indian people. My mom and grandma are in heaven. Me, not quite so much, although now it's a bit better. Seriously, internet, you are the elixir of freaking LIFE right now. <3!
Meg, I can Paypal you my rent for January whenever you want. I'll check the comments on this entry somwhow, tomorrow, and if you say so I'll send you it then. I'm also leaving you a message on your facebook.
Miss you guys, both you real-life types and the imaginary internet folks. With any luck, I'll be able to post again tomorrow.
Also: Am not sunburned. This is a bigger shock to me then it is to you, I promise.
