Aug. 14th, 2004 01:09 amHmm. So. I get a new computer. Because Apple lost my old one.
See, the hard drive up and died, and had to be replaced. And then, somehow, it disappeared between Apple and me. Now they're just... gonna send me a new one. Same size, still an iBook, but a little faster, a little more memory, a newer OS. And AirPort Extreme, or whatever they're calling it.
I'm not too unhappy, actually; I wish I'd backed up more of my files, but I mostly only lost mp3s and comics and some stuff I'd written for school. I know I burned all my digicam pictures onto CDs long ago-- all the stuff from BBG events and such-- I just need to find the friggin' disks.
If anyone has any files that once were mine, or are me-related-- photos, or chat logs, or LJ icons, or whatever-- could you leave a comment here? Even if it's just small stuff, it'll give me a better picture of what I'm missing.
And, oh, shit, I need to reconstruct a collection of about 1600 mp3s.
