Okay, so. It is looking increasingly likely that I will be going to Disney World at the end of March, and that has me VERY EXCITED. Because, as those of you who have spoken to me for more than, like, ten minutes know, I <3 Disney World. A lot. And this means I might get to ride Pirates one last time before they shut it down for four months in order to totally fuck it up, augh, what are they *thinking*?

The shape of the trip is looking like this, so far: I'm going to be driving down with paula_kelley, holdnothing, and asmallbluedot. We'll spend four nights at the Pop Century, which I have not stayed at yet and which I hear is like a hotel constructed entirely of kitsch for giants, and then drive to the beach, possibly Daytona, for a day and spend a night there. Then we go home.

I am extremely proud of myself for the crazy amounts of cost-cutting I have managed to do: if we can get my mother's friend in Florida to buy the tickets for us, we will probably spent about $250 apiece on park tickets and the hotel, total. Of course, gas and food will add to this, but that's still PRETTY GOOD.

...has anyone else seen the McDonalds commercial where a little boy is sitting on a park bench with a statue of Ronald McDonald, and he strikes up a conversation with Ronald and offers him a fry? It's clearly supposed to be cute and funy, ha ha, that little boy thinks Ronald is real! How cute. But I was actually, physically frozen in terror for the entirety of that commercial, because I was *convinced* that the Ronald statue was going to come to life and kill that little boy. AND THEN ME.

It was REALLY SCARY, okay?

eta: AUGH, that commercial is part of a SERIES, I just saw another one with the same bench and creepy statue, but with a grown-up guy this time. But I was slightly less freaked out, because, you know, that guy could at least fight back if the clown came to life and tried to murder him. WHICH IT WILL.
