Wherein Scully goes to a bar one night because she's just had that lousy a day, only to find it's crammed with obnoxious Georgetown students hollering over something, and she winds up in the back corner exchanging deeply amused glances with the one guy her age in the place. And they get to talking, and he buys her a drink, and really, she doesn't usually go for the flannel-shirt-and-jeans type, but the $500-suit-type is making her life a bizarre and oblivious hell lately, so, well, why not?
I also sort of wish the timelines would allow Scully to be flattered enough at being hit on by someone as hot and obviously too young for her as Dean that she invites him home (in no small part because Mulder, barging in obnoxiously early the next morning, would get the shock of his life) but I suspect that one wouldn't quite work out.
Yes, I have hit the Brain Full of Crossovers stage of fandom love. I'm very sorry, but this happens to me every time, and the three unfinished Firefly/DCU crossovers on my hard drive are pretty clear proof that there's no avoiding it.
On the bright side! I may actually finish this Agent Henriksen thing, and I think I have a Lenore story in my head somewhere.
