Jan. 4th, 2008 02:37 pmWe're leaving Prague in about an hour, but I had time this morning to go to the Mucha museum, which was nice, because I got to do a lot of wandering around both before and after I found it. The museum itself is small, but nice, and has a bunch of schetchbooks and original drawings, along with all the posters and a few paintings, that made it worthwhile. It also had a *very* comprehensive gift shop, from which I bought a book of posters.
Then I got pretty comprehensively lost on the way back, but was put back on track by an American lady working in a vintage store-- apparently, she makes jewelry and just works there to keep her visa, and her husband is a musician. Man, as life goals go? That sounds like a good one.
Off to, as it turns out, Madrid, just for a day, and then home again. I would very much like to sleep for a week when I get there, but I think work starts again on the 7th. Jetlag city, here I come.
