(no subject)

Midday naps are apparently good for my creative process; I came up with a short story idea during mine, and now have 650 words. This one seems to be similar in style to "Sleep and Wake" and "From the Collection...," i.e. in a genre I am going to go ahead and call "magical realism for hipsters."

All my characters are twentysomethings who make mediocre life choices and care a lot about books and music and weird old stuff. This kind of makes me feel like I should be, you know, more creative.
