I have an OkCupid date tonight. So far I am batting 0 for 2 with those-- one was really awkward, and the nice one had no follow-up. We'll see how it goes.

I am like 85% sure I have a sinus infection, which, augh. So not what I need right now.

My first jury duty is Tuesday. I am really hoping it doesn't drag on, and am considering airing my liberal views on drug policy to make this happen.

I am not sure what to say about Japan, other than: the pictures are heart-wrenching, and I hope things turn out okay.

Inspired by Ta-Nehisi Coates, I am embarking on a Jane Austen reread. Just finished Sense & Sensibility, am now starting on Northanger Abbey. That passage on why novels are awesome remains one of my favorites in all literature ever.
