in furtherance of vintage dreams

I went to my favorite vintage store on Thursday, and asked the lady who owns it if she could use some unpaid labor about the place, in exchange for learning the business. So it looks like I will be interning/apprenticing a couple of mornings a week at Polly Sue's in Takoma Park! I suspect this will lead to me buying all the dresses, but worse things could happen than that.

In other news, have taken the Wimseys/Who fic out of mothballs, and am poking vaguely at it. I still don't seem to have whatever hook I need to make the story go, alas. But I'm working on it.
