book sales
Aug. 21st, 2011 07:27 pmToday's haul at the estate auction: a stack of 1910s clothing ads and a box of hats. The ads will go to the flea market, along with the big box of turn-of-the-century photos I got last week. The hats will probably be sold at the vintage store.
Unfortunately, my garage flooded in the recent rain, which means a lot of my flea market books got ruined-- everything that was in a box directly on the floor was soaked. Sucks, but at least I didn't spend a lot of money on them in the first place.
My booth at the antique mall is doing really well! Our second week of sales was more than double the first week. If I can just keep pricing books at the same rate and get them on the shelves every week, I should make a decent amount of money there.
