home again (for a minute)

Home from London! It was AMAZING. I thought I had managed to fend off jet lag, but then i spent most of today napping. Oh well.

Because apparently I am spending most of August out of town, I will be in New York this weekend! The boyfriend and I might be making an expedition to Dead Horse Bay to collect bottles on Sunday, if anyone's interested in coming along, or otherwise hanging out.

Just learned that John Pertwee was a) a spy during WWII, and b) was over 6 feet tall. Have added him to my Improbably Tall Spies WWII superteam.
