So, according to the spreadsheet I'm using to keep track, I have sent Tumblr asks to 99 different people about the zines I'm making for Brooklyn Zinefest. Of those, a little more than half have replied; I have about 40 who've gotten as far as agreeing to participate and giving me a contact email. Last year, there was about a 40% flakeout rate even from the people who'd committed. I ended up with thirty or so contributors across five zines.
So I've *probably* got enough people lined up. But I'm nervous, and I feel like the bulk of them are for the Star Trek and AtLA zines, with only a handful for Buffy and Young Wizards. I'll probably keep looking for contriutors through the end of the week, but with a March 31 deadline I doubt I'll have much luck beyond that.
This might be a good time to mention: I'm making fanzines for Buffy, AtLA, Star Trek and Young Wizards, for Brooklyn Zinefest on April 27. If you'd like to contribute, I'd love to have you. Signal boosting would also be much appreciated. This post is the best one to link to.
