name a kitty!

Internets, I have a challenge for you! Yesterday my friend found a tiny adorable sad baby kitten. He was incredibly skinny and dirty and had a cut on his poor little face. So she took him home and gave him a bath and fed him, and now he needs a name. There is a not-insignificant chance that he will be my kitty, if I can talk my landlady and roomates around, so it has to be a really really good name.

The kitten in question is very dark stripey brown-and-black, with biiiig yellow eyes. He is the most affectionate little guy in the *world*-- when I saw him last night, only a few hours after some big scary giants had carried him off in a car and dunked him in water, he was headbutting everyone in range, because he'd figured out that got him head scritches. And he cozies up to any available human once he knows they're nice-- not at all shy.

What should his name be?
