process, not results

I think I've come to an important realization about me and my yarn.
As you may recall, I bought a spinning wheel in May. And I looooove my wheel. I generally spend at least a few hours a week spinning, and enjoy every minute.
The thing is, the yarn I like to spin and the yarn I like to knit with? Not the same. Which is okay: I spin because I like spinning, just as I knit because I like knitting. I'm not spinning or knitting towards a goal, generally speaking-- the fact that I get a pair of mittens or a skein of yarn is a delightful by-product of the very enjoyable time I spent knitting or spinning.
The fact is, though, that the handspun is piling up. Since I almost always go for the solid-color lace-weight when I want to knit, and I almost never *spin* solid-colored lace-weight, this was sort of inevitable.
Still: what the hell do I do with all this yarn?
Also, what do I do with all this lace knitting?
