At work today, had to explain to two second-graders why calling each other 'gay' as an insult was not acceptable. Without explaining what it *actually* means. And then had to tell their parents it was time to have that talk with their kids.

Also? Better you than me, because I'd end up explaining everything. (To know is better than to not know! Always! Who would want their kid to be uneducated? ...The scientist in me does not make for good instincts regarding age levels.) *grin*
