shop decorating dilemmas

So I need to decorate the shop for the holidays. I know I'm hanging Christmas lights, and I think I want a blue-and-white color scheme. I have a hand-knit blue-and-white stocking that says GRANDMA-- it's adorable, but I think I need a grouping of stockings for visual impact, so I I'm going to look for more. I was going to make a blue-and-white paper chain, but I saw brown craft paper at the store and that would make a good paper chain too. I was also thinking about making tissue paper puffballs to hang from the ceiling. And maybe getting a mini tree (like a two-footer) in white or silver, and hanging tiny dreidels and gelt from it. And I definitely want a menorah on display.

Thoughts? Suggestions?

I like the idea of the craft paper, as it sounds like it would go along with the handknit stocking. You could maybe add accents to the paper with glitter pens, or stick-on stars or something?

We've put up giant 3D paper snowflakes (tutorial: http://www.wikihow.com/Make-a-3D-Paper-Snowflake). Our are made from 11x11 squares but they look good in smaller sizes, too.

I love the idea of the craft paper for a chain. As for the tree, that might be overkill - I think it would depend on the scale of the overall display.
