holliI bought a vintage dress yesterday. it's 40s, very simple lines, blue on the shoulders and upper chest and black from there down to the hem. It looks, in fact, an awful lot like a Starfleet science uniform designed thirty years too early.
kinetikatrue lent me a vintage pin she owns that happens to be the exact same shape as a Starfleet communicator. At Dragoncon, I'm planning to wear it, and the dress, with victory rolls, black peep-toe pumps, stocking seams drawn in eye pencil, and red lipstick.
Because I'm dressing as Star Trek: The Greatest Generation.
