Starting to get contributions for the Brooklyn Zinefest fanzines, and it looks like I'm going to be okay for fanart. Text, on the other hand, is thin on the ground. I am a bit worried.

If anyone is willing to write even 250 words of meta or fic for Buffy, AtLA, Young Wizards or Star Trek, it would be a huge help. Things like lists, craft instructions, fanmixes, and other miscellanea are also welcome. There's a 1000-word max, so this does not have to be long. I just need more than I've got to make these zines happen.

Signal boosting much appreciated, if you know anyone in any of those four fandoms. Thanks, y'all.

Are reprints okay or do you need new stuff?

I am trying to give priority to new stuff, but if I end up with pages to fill I will definitely take reprints.

What's your time frame? And as far as Buffy meta, anything you've already got covered/are looking to cover? I might be able to pull something together.

The current deadline is March 31, and the actual zinefest is April 27. I do need some time to do layouts and get stuff printed, but I can prooooobably push it til April 10 or 15?

And I have literally no text yet for the Buffy zine, so go nuts. One person is theoretically writing something about underrated episodes, and I am going to try to put something together about the theme of strength and power making people feel isolated (which the series finale corrects by allowing Buffy to share her power), but other than that it's all open territory.

And all I've got for AtLA is 500 words on gender roles, so just about anything else would be great.

ok idk about word count but if this is the same size as the last ones I can get you half a page of star trek ds9 text by the end of this week. How many words is that, about?

I can do something for Star Trek AOS. I'm thinking something along the lines of picking three Uhura fic to review that explore her character along a theme.

Half a page is only about two paragraphs/200 words, actually, since the zines are half-size booklets. If you want to do a list or something similar I can make it fit a page pretty easily. (And thank you!)
