holliEw ew ew. I just set up a poetry journal on greatestjournal, and on the main page they had, in amongst the latest posts, a pro-anorexia and bulimia community. I'm just... gah. ew. Girls who listed their target weight as "0 pounds," who said they had eating disorders because they want to be dead, one girl who listed Paris Hilton as her "thinspiration," and... gah. ew. It's this twisted Bizarro World version of a support group, where they congratulate each other for relapsing, and give tips on how to throw up and hide the signs of ketosis.
I feel dirty now. Though I do feel much better about my (few, and teensy in comparison) body-image issues. All I want for Hanukah are some stomach muscles and a non-bony ass.
