weird, weird subconscious

holliLast night I dreamed that I went to see the Firefly movie. And I actually dreamed most of the movie, in a rather odd way; I remember sitting in the theater and being distracted by the people sitting behind me, and at the end of the movie (which was rather cliffhangery and involved a Stargate-esque pyramid somehow) I got caught up in a conversation with the people behind me. Then, after the screen went dark, Joss's voice came up over the PA and said "You didn't think I'd end it here, did you?" and we all cheered. Then it got seriously odd.
The whole second half of the dream was about River, and I was in it at some points and just an observer at others, and I recall it being very arty-- there was one point where as-we-know-her crazy!River was looking out a window (or possibly an elevator) and watching a younger, un-crazy version of herself. There was sad background music. It was very moving.
This whole segment of the dream also appeared to take place at a theme park, where River went on the log flume and I, wuss that I am, stayed behind. Instead of taking your picture, the way some rides do when they have a big drop at the end, this ride gave people a printout of a "Which X-man are you?" meme, which I though was rather odd even in the dream. River was really annoyed when it told her she was Cyclops. Then my mom woke me up.
BTW, I'm home from school until Friday, when I'm going to New York. If anyone wants to hang out tomorrow or Thursay, please let me know, and if any NYCistas want to hang out I should be free Saturday night or Sunday morning.
