Justice League tonight brough me more joy than any cartoon rightly should. I mean, little Bats! And wee Lantern, *so excited* about all the cool stuff he can make! Sure, the plot was built on the flimsiest of premises, and I was disappointed at first by the lack of Robin, but OMG the CUTE. Diana trying desperately to flirt, and whether she failed because Bruce was a nine-year old or just because he's Bruce we'll never know. Superboy! And his laser vision! And the GLASSES. Not to mention grownup!John's worried "I don't like where this is going" before Morgan did her thing.

Man. The Justice League needs to get turned into little kids WAY more often.

AHHH. I TOTALLY SAW THAT EPISODE AND I LOVED IT! OK, so hi. I'm Ariel Fogel. I'm lizz's "adopted" kid-brother, I am a junior at JDS, I'm 15, and I'm a total dork too. Comics included. And I really want to talk to you. Cause you are the awesomest person ever. And Jason Schlaffstein is never available to chat, so the only person I can talk to about comics would have to be Miles Pell. But now you are here. And you are like probably about as obsessive about comics as I am (although I'm into marvelverse more than DCverse, but whatever). In any event, I would really like to chat with you and you are amazingly cool.

Of *course* I want more people to talk comics with! You should check out some of the more notable comics-fandom spots on LJ, especially scans_daily, which is full of cracktastic goodness. Most of my friends from Buffy fandom have turned to comics geekery since our show ended, and lots of them write really good fic, too.
