The Maryland Sheep and Wool Festival is this weekend, and I am very, very excited. It's unfortunate that it coincides with Free Comic Book Day, though. No one thinks about the fiber arts/comic book geeks. All twelve of us.

Also? I'm seeing Ben Folds Sunday night. It's like someone shook the year and all the awesome settled in one weekend.

Holli, I'll be at S&W on Saturday (yes, I'm heading back to Maryland less than 2 weeks after moving.). I'll be working at the Cloverhill booth for the first few hours in the morning, then wandering about afterwards.

Well, surely free comic book day doesn't have to take tons of time? Can't you go get the free books and THEN go geek out over wools? Granted, you'd have to save the comics to enjoy later, and you couldn't hang otu at the store to pimp other comics to people or try to get them to give you extras, but...there are always sacrifices, man.

The trouble is, MS&W is in Howard County, and I was planning to spend the whole day there. But I'll try to at least stop in at my local store.
