paula_kelley and two other girls, which I am actually doing tomorrow. But instead of the house-- and the roomates-- that I'm going to have in real life, I dreamed that we lived in a four-person dorm suite at Swarthmore College, which I had apparently transferred to at some point during the night. In the dream, the dorm was nice, if a little crowded, but otherwise ordinary. Until I noticed the flight of stairs leading down from the little door in our vestibule (Yes, the dorm had a vestibule. Shh.). So I was like, hey, what's down those stairs? Shira explained that we really weren't supposed to go down there, but she'd show me this once because it's really cool. Down the stairs, we found an insanely lavish, elegant set of rooms, with lots of antique furniture and framed art on the walls and classical music playing somewhere. At the bottom of the stairs, the railings were carved to look like medieval animals of some kind.
So apparently my subconscious thinks I'm moving to Narnia, or something. And there was also a bit of dream where I panicked because I couldn't find any of my knitting or sewing stuff, but then, to my relief, it turned out to be in the other room. The fact that this made it into my dream will surprise exactly no one, I'm sure.
