Today I painted a wall, and fell off a chair, and got invited to play beer pong at the neighbors, and bought water guns, and did I mention I fell off a chair? OW. Although once I landed (which TOOK a while; I fell, like, IN STAGES), I just lay there on the floor laughing hysterically for like five minutes, because it's not my new home unless I've injured myself in it, apparently. For those who don't know what I'm talking about, kindly refer to the Broken Elbow Incident of Freshman Year. So yeah.

Also, our cat has fleas. WILL I NEVER BE FREE OF TINY INSECTS?

eta: I should mention, I was *standing* on the chair. Because, while I do fall out of chairs while sitting in them, it's much rarer and hurts less. So yeah.

Also: My street is like 40% other college students, and just now a bunch of drunk boys wandered past outside, singing the Sweater Song. I'm honestly too charmed to be annoyed by the noise.

Well, uh, I sort of... the chair tipped over, and I kind of balanced on the side of it for a second, then I fell off THAT, bumped into the nightstand on the way down, and finally landed on my ass.

I'm pretty sure it's the sort of thing that only happens if you're me.

Hey... I think I saw you and Shira Pilarski driving right past me (I was not even on the sidewalk) down route 1 on Thursday night. Would it have been a green auto with some stickers on it? I was walking past the giant crowd that was outside of Cornerstone, and I saw you guys (maybe) pull up and drive off.

I just got home from Baltimore; this afternoon there were all these people outside the Johns Hopkins campus protesting the war and one of them looked JUST...LIKE...YOU.

It jarred me such that I almost crashed my bleeding car.

Probably not, since I was just there, though possibly. Gas being what it is it costs me a good $50 just to drive there, not to mention all that goes along with your average girlfriend visit.

Still, it IS a possibility. Place has served as a kind of escape of late. Plus I should be moving there sometime in the (hopefully) near future.

It was fucked up though. But I was pretty sure you weren't hanging out on some Baltimore street, protesting the war. PRETTY sure.
