I wore the space-age costume to the party, with white eyeliner and blue lipstick, and looked *kind of awesome*. But the party itself was one of the noisy, beery, who-are-you-people kind, so we only hung around for like forty minutes, sadly.

In other news, am *not happy* with my new sewing machine. The bobbin assembly's hopelessly fucked up, and this is a *brand new machine*. When I cut the long sleeves on my dress down into cap sleeves, I had to hand-hem the edges. it took *forever*. Not cool, new sewing machine. Not cool.

If anyone would like to have a Young Avengers ficathon, could they kindly let me know?
