holliWinding center-pull balls by hand is NO FUN. My arm is tired, but at least this is the last of the yarn for Flower Basket Shawl #2. Of course, since mine and roomate's order from Knitpicks came today, and I got five shawls' worth of yarn, I have a lot more tiny-yarn-winding to look forward too, gah. My arm hurts just thinking about it.
I seem to be posting about nothing but crafty things lately, which is odd, because last I checked I was still a big old fangeek. Maybe it's the lack of anything in particular to talk *about*-- with DC in the middle of all its Crisis nonsense, comics fandom (at least the parts of it I have anything to do with) has sort of fallen to bits. And I don't watch Supernatural (yet, give me time), and while I like BSG I don't feel particularly move to read or write about it (although if you haven't read Twelve, by![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
rheanna27, what are you waiting for? shoo!), and Young Avengers hasn't, for some reason, aggregated much of a fandom around it yet. So perhaps it's just that I don't have much *to* talk about, which is weird, because I'm so very polyfannish now as compared to when Buffy was still on the air.
So, since I can't come up with things to talk about on my own (that aren't related to sewing or knitting, anyway), does anyone have any suggestions? Toss me a topic, fandom-related or not, and I'll babble about it. Or I could just explain why there totally has to be a planet somewhere in the Firefly 'verse that has superheroes. No, seriously, there *does*.
