I FINALLY finished Flower Basket #2! Like most lace, it looked scrunchy and weird off the needles, but once I blocked it? So pretty! It's *huge*, too-- that's a queen-sized bed it's pinned out on, and I had to lay it out diagonally to get it to fit.
And it looks pretty on, too!
Yarn is handspun laceweight, from an Apaca Fun Farm roving I bought at Sheep & Wool last year-- alpaca, wool and silk. It's all soft and floaty and dreamy and YAY.

Date: 2006-03-07 07:04 pm (UTC)That shawl is lace *knitting*, which is no different from any other kind of knitting-- just like every other knitted garment ever made, it uses knit and purl stitches, increases (in this case, yarnovers) and decreases in a repeating pattern.
