You guys. YOU GUYS. I'm watching the movie of The Indian in the Cupboard (stfu), and in addition to being directed by Frank Oz, which, awesome enough, but it has Vincent Kartheiser! And Lindsay Crouse! Professor Walsh played Connor's mother, people! These things are important!

eta: okay, the movie leaves out like half the stuff I adored in the books, but omg BOONE. Tiny magic cowboy of my HEART, he is. <3!

Yes! There was a movie! It is so early 90s that it hurts, but it's kind of delightful anyway. Boone is so perfect I can't even deal, and Little Bear gets to have a personality, and Omri is wee and adorable. I'm not sure if Omri and Partick were aged down for the movie, or if I just remember them as older than they are in the book, but either way? Wee. And Patrick is kind of a chump, but, well, that's fairly true to the book.
