holliBack from New Jersey! Which was not nearly as awful as I was expecting: we are still speaking to nearly all of our relatives on that side of the family, and I got in no major fights with my parents.
It's possible I have low standards for family-related stress. But! One of my second cousins is fannish! Mostly in HP and Buffy, and apparently she is quite dismayed by the rapid rise of SGA, but still! This is terribly exciting, because it means I am not in fact some sort of genetic freak or switched at birth or anything.
Also: went to second Terry Pratchett signing on Wednesday, and ran into a girl I met *last* year at a Neil Gaiman signing, which was sort of hilarious.
