Nov. 24th, 2006 11:53 pmRather than brave the Black Friday crowds, because I am not *insane*, I fulfilled my moral obligation to shop by going thrifting with Davni and her roomate. They were good luck or something because I *finally* found a picnic basket worth buying, for Renn Fest next year, and a framed Fievel Goes West poster that is now on the living room wall. And, awesomely, a beautiful old quilt for $10 that I'm gonna guess is from the 30s, from the colors and the fabrics. It's pretty badly frayed around the edges, but the actual piecing still looks great, and it looks entirely hand-sewn. I just have to figure out how to clean the thing without shredding it, and rebind it.
And just now, Jason informed me of the existence of this shirt. I'll wait for the shrieking to die down.
...Okay? Okay. OH EM GEE, YOU GUYS. I MUST HAVE IT.
