So at Borders' today, I overheard a man and a woman talking about comics as I browsed nearby. He was explaining something about Black Panther-- how Marvel had tried to change his name shortly after his debut. I piped up, "But it didn't stick!" because I am a buttinsky, and totally glad to be one. I ended up having a lovely, fun, deeply nerdtastic conversation with them both, ranging from how more stuff needs to be in trade to how girl-wonder is awesome to why in God's name we remember trivia about Comet the Super-Horse, whic, seriously, why does my brain retain that information? WHY.

Also, earlier, at work I compared favorite knitting patterns with one of the moms, and recommended Polly and the Pirates to another.

AND. I have decided: I am applying to the Disney College Internship Program. I am SUPER EXCITED. And, I mean, also terrified of rejection, but this is standard for me.
