holli1. As a child, who was your favorite superhero/heroine? Why?
I'd have to say Jubilee, of X-Men fame. I was nine, she was cool. Also, she was the only character on that particular Saturday morning cartoon who didn't periodically shake her fists at the sky and shout "NOOOOOO!!!" So I liked her the best.
2. What was one thing you always wanted as a child but never got?
A pony, which I only wanted because I read Misty of Chincoteague at an impressionable age.
3. What's the furthest from home you've been?
Israel's farther west than Turkey, right? So, Israel.
4. What's one thing you've always wanted to learn but haven't yet?
Synchronized swimming. Complete mystery to me. Also, how the cool kids got that way.
5. What are your plans for the weekend?
Well, I was GOING to go to open mic night, but it's been canceled by the school because we did such a good job promoting it that too many people were going to attend, and they hadn't bothered to line up security because they didn't expect anyone to show. So it's indefinitely postponed. Fuckers. Instead of that, I guess I'll go to Stephanie's states Sunday afternoon and maybe see Chicago with Marnie at some point. Sigh. Grr.
