My LJ seems to contain nothing but memes and squee lately, but I do promise this will change. If nothing else, I expect to finish a decently long SPN story sometime this summer. Until then:

Tell me a character, I'll tell you three things from my personal canon about them.

I'm a little afraid of this list of fandoms-- when did this *happen*?-- but any of the following are fair game: Buffy, DCU, SPN, SGA, Heroes, Ugly Betty, Discworld, Life on Mars, Doctor Who, Torchwood--

Hey, wait. You know what? Let's mix it up. Who wants to do a kidlit version of this meme? Because I feel like I've read enough YA that I could reliably do any of the characters from, say, Animorphs or Tamora Pierce or McCaffrey. Or even some more respectable folks: L'Engle, C.S. Lewis, Diane Duane, Diana Wynne Jones, Philip Pullman, Patricia Wrede. In fact, I will be perfectly happy with *any* excuse to reread the Enchanted Forest Chronicles.

1. He rather liked Throgmorton, and was rather sad that none of the many, many kittens the cat fathered over the years inherited his rather distinctive personality. Not that he'd ever say as much to Millie-- she'd hit him over the head with something.

2. Privately, he understood why Cat let his sister walk all over him: it's a lot easier when someone else has the responsibility of all that power.

3. He doesn't get to visit other worlds half as often as he'd like to, and he almost never gets to just explore anymore. He can hardly remember the last world he went to that wasn't for work, or that didn't wind up being work by the end.

Nah, I'm doing my final scenes for class tonight! And besides, I thought the film was absolute twaddle. So, yeah, there we go.

But hey, next time you and I see a movie in Georgetown, I am SO taking you to that French cafe we didn't go to last time. OMG, what a little hidden treasure!
