holliI really need to stop watching the various flavors of cop shows on Animal Planet, because I inevitably tune in to the episode where there's a hundred puppies crammed into an unventilated room, or someone dumping kittens by the side of the road.
And, yes, the episode always ends with someone adopting the animals and taking them home to wonderful new lives-- in this case an itty bitty miniature daschsund puppy (who *almost died,* you guys) got adopted by a couple with a giant house, and they showed him getting lavished with affection and new toys and things. Which was wonderful, but I still had to watch all the sad abandoned kitten stuff to get there.
...mostly, I really want a kitten. Sigh.
