I really need to stop watching the various flavors of cop shows on Animal Planet, because I inevitably tune in to the episode where there's a hundred puppies crammed into an unventilated room, or someone dumping kittens by the side of the road.

And, yes, the episode always ends with someone adopting the animals and taking them home to wonderful new lives-- in this case an itty bitty miniature daschsund puppy (who *almost died,* you guys) got adopted by a couple with a giant house, and they showed him getting lavished with affection and new toys and things. Which was wonderful, but I still had to watch all the sad abandoned kitten stuff to get there.

...mostly, I really want a kitten. Sigh.

I'm getting a siamese blue point little boy tonight. Yes, it is 11:07 here :) I'm meeting a lady that's driving through my town tonight to pick him up. It saves me an eight hour round trip to get him. It just means waking up the whole house (3 little kids) to get him! ARGH!!!

I've also read the spoilers for the epilogue, but I don't think I want to believe them. I almost want to say I've already read it over on FF.net and that I didn't finish the story b/c it was lame....

Sadly, I can't *have* a kitten no matter how much I want one, because our landlady doesn't allow pets. SO UNFAIR.

Do you get random pet checks or something? Cause I totally hid a cat in my first apartment. And to be perfectly honest with you, cats are much less destructive than kids. Way way less destructive.
