magic phone is magic
Feb. 19th, 2013 11:30 amSo, this weekend I bought a lot of vintage doll clothes at an estate sale. Well, they were dirt cheap, and I had a feeling they would do well on Etsy. I got them home, and made an attempt at photographing them with my phone, because my real camera is a hassle and I need a new charger for it before I can use it properly.
The pictures did not come out well. I had recently seen a blog post in which someone extolled the virtues of their new iPhone for taking Etsy pictures, which got me thinking. I've had my trusty 3GS for about two years now, which meant I was probably due for an upgrade. I figured the iPhone 4S would be cheap and have a markedly better camera.
Well, I was due for a *discounted* ugrade, and now I have a shiny, shiny iPhone 5. And people, this thing is amazing. There's an Etsy app that lets you make listings directly from your phone, and it literally takes two minutes to go from zero to finished listing. For that alone, it's worth it.
Oh, and for anyone interested in 1950s doll dresses, they are available here.
