Back from New York! Dead Horse Bay was SO COOL. I now have a substantial collection of hundred-year-old milk glass makeup containers in need of a good scrubbing.

On the bus home, I ended up sitting next to the Washington Post's theater critic, of all people. He was very fun to talk to, though-- when I mentioned I was leaving for Dragoncon in a few days, we wound up having a long conversation about fandom, which mostly consisted of him asking fascinated questions and me trying to sound smart. I think I made us look good, anyway, and now he might go read Textual Poachers.

I have today and tomorrow to do all the laundry and clean all the things before I leave again. We shall see what gets done.

Also! I am trying to build up at least a bit of a backlog of photo prompts for MCU Stories. Right now my process consists of 'get idea, scour Flickr for appropriate photo' which will only work until I run out of ideas.
