con season and brooklyn zinefest
Sep. 5th, 2013 06:49 pmDragoncon was awesome as always, although I did pick up a case of con crud and may not be up to writing it all down for a couple more days.
That said, and because I am a crazy person, Baltimore Comic-Con is this weekend. My plan is to get there right when it opens Sunday morning, browse the dealers room, and then go for delicious hipster brunch at Golden West. Anyone who'd like to tag along is welcome, assuming there's room in the car.
Next weekend is SPX, and Capclave is in a month. I might actually be tired of talking to nerds by the end of October. I mean, probably not, but it *could* happen.
I'm also starting to think about the next round of zines, and this time I want to have more than a two-month turnaround. Brooklyn Zinefest is in April. I know I want to make a Buffy zine, but other fandoms are still under consideration. Anyone have any fandoms they’d like to see represented, or want to participate in a Buffy zine?
