holliSo, I watched SGA last night for pretty much the first time in forever (definitely the first whole episode I've seen this season) and, show! You are awesome! Why have I been neglecting you?
Basically I started giggling the minute I realized they all had a case of the space amnesia shingles, and stopped very infrequently. I mean, honestly. Space amnesia shingles.
Other things I liked:
1) Rodney being the guy from Memento with stuff written all over him.
2) Teyla's near-infinite patience-- you know the time we saw her explaining to Rodney what he was doing was like the 11th time, and she had to repeat herself to Lorne like 47 times AT LEAST. And yet she only allowed a tiiiiny bit of "...you *dumbass*" impatience to creep into her voice.
3) Sam realizing she had entrusted the gate crystal to a squirrelly Czech amnesiac. But then she went and was awesome even without her memory, so it was okay.
4) Ronon's utter lack of patience with everything ever. Also, him being smart enough to not tell John he *was* the one who tied him up.
5) Katie NOT DYING, because I totally bought that fakeout even though it was on the level of cutting away to a funeral at the end of "Lover's Walk." I am gullible.
6) Rodney remembering pi and wondering if that makes him a bad person. Uh, possibly, dude, but it's okay, we love you anyway.
7) Everyone being really sweaty and disheveled for the whole hour. That was nice.
In other news: Halloween was awesome.
