So I now have a new laptop charger, a new laptop battery, and new jeans. These were all important acquisitions because my laptop charger broke, my laptop battery wouldn't hold a charge, and my favorite jeans have holes in the butt.

In Yuletide news, I have a story, but it's missing a big chunk in the middle and I'm not sure what goes there. Um. Can I say what I'm writing in order to find a beta? Is it okay if I flock? What's the etiquette here?

Did you already check the thread on yuletide where people volunteered with the fandoms they'd be able to beta? If you didn't find anyone there, you could write the Yuletide mods, and they may be able to find you a beta from among the people who offered to write that fandom.
