So, uh, anyone else want to write the fic where oblivious!Donna starts getting fantastic job offers out of the blue, and random strangers are nice to her for no reason that she can figure, and her mum sets her up with a really wonderful guy-- "He's new in town, dear. Doesn't know a soul. And stutters, too, poor thing, so I'm sure he could use your help settling in..." and basically the Doctor and everyone just work behind the scenes a lot to make her life awesome.

And then, I don't know, Jenny shows up and gets annoyed and smashes the whole thing to bits, and once Donna remembers again she figures out a way to use her big Time Lord brain to not die. Yes. I like this plan!

I did think it was kind of funny at the end, when Emo Ten is doing his "Alone Ten is alone" stare sadly at the wall schtick, because the next thing he's *got* to do is go around to Jack and Mickey and Martha and Sarah Jane and warn them all that they can never talk to Donna again. Don't just sit there, sad Doctor! You have all your friends to visit!

I mean, if I were any of the other companions, I suppose I'd assume that Donna went off and is travelling with the Doctor forever, so they might not just try calling her up randomly to be all "hey, Donna," but that doesn't mean they might not accidentally bump into her on the street.

Well, luckily most of them are going to be in Cardiff or other dimensions, where they're less likely to run into Donna, but yes! He probably should let them know eventually.
