Got my assignment! It seems like something I can have fun with, and will allow me to wallow in a source text I really like. So hooray!

As for my Santa, somewhere out there in the wilds of LJ:

So, here's a list of things I like: plucky teenagers (especially ones who fight crime, especially especially sidekicks), mistaken identities, period costume, outsider POVs, characters who don't know the whole story and never find out. I read gen, het and slash, so don't worry: I will be happy no matter what you write.

There are a few things that squick me out, like questionable consent and characters getting humiliated for no good reason. Take a look at my delicious recs for some idea of the kinds of stories I like.

I don't participate in yuletide because I don't really write fanfiction, and because my fandoms are few, but it always warms my heart to see everyone getting all excited about it and starting to go. <3 Rock on, yuletide people, rock on.
