I went for my first real ride on my new bike today! It's been too cold so far, among other excuses, but today even though it was kind of chilly I went and rode my bike on the path along the river for half an hour or so. Then I came back because, uh, it was kind of cold. But I'm totally doing it again tomorrow, and for longer, because it's supposed to be really nice out!

Also, went to the thrift store, and found an AMAZING gray wool full-length 60's cape coat. This may be the cape I use for my Dragoncon costume, although it's not quite what I had in mind, and even if I don't use it there I will totally wear it next winter. Also got a bunch of really good Etsy-able stuff, including a mint-green '60s minidress and a completely unbelieveable rodeo dress with about a mile of fringe. AND I got Peter Pan collared blouse and a pale yellow full-skirted shirtdress for myself. I also bough a Girl Scout vest for the pins on it-- I use the two matching ones to hold the rolled-up sleeves of the shirtdress in place, and I'll find uses for the rest too if I don't sell them.

In other news, I want to pick a show to Netflix and watch this summer. Right now the front-runners are due South, which I've never seen (despite feeling like I have thanks to fannish osmosis), and a rewatch of Farscape.
