So, we've maybe been going a little stir-crazy here. We've been effectively snowed in since Friday afternoon; aside from a brief reprieve yesterday when we managed to get the car out and get groceries and pet food and things, the only time I've left the house has been on foot. At least we're walking distance to 7-11 and the liquor store!
The good news is, we seem to have crossed some sort of boredom threshold and are being actually productive. I've painted five picture frames (they were grody old wood, and now are a nice clean flat white), reorganized my room, bagged up stuff to take to
paula_kelley's next swap, hung pictures and posters, and spun about a skein's worth of singles that I will probably ply sometime tonight.
seize has been channelling her inner Julia Child-- she's so far made English muffins, soup, and pizza, has promised cupcakes for later, and is currently hanging posters in the stairwell.
When we run of of stuff to do, things may go downhill. But for now it's rather cozy. At least until I remember that I'm not going back to work until TUESDAY.
