I'm back from Dragoncon! I had an absolute blast. All the panels I went to were fantastic. The Doctor Who gas mask zombie costume was a big hit. Doc Hammer from the Venture Bros. gave me a gold-painted William Shatner bobblehead (and Adam Savage signed it!). Darwyn Cooke told me I was pretty. Basically: nerdvana.
On the way back, though, we had a bit of an adventure. When
paula_kelley and I stopped for a bathroom break, she accidentally flushed her car key, leaving us stranded in North Carolina with our purses and phones locked in the car. This could have ended *badly*, but lucky for us we were only ten miles from Greensboro, where she had friends, and we found someone who was driving from Richmond to Greensboro that night and could bring us a spare key. So we were delayed by about six hours, but we made it home.
On the way back, though, we had a bit of an adventure. When
