Doctor Who, "The Almost People" initial thoughts

It might not be a good sign that my first thought, on seeing the ending of "The Almost People," was "wait a minute, I've seen this episode of Farscape."

That said, now a lot of things are making sense. I'm not sure if they are things I like, but at least sense is being made.

Hmm. I think I'm going to have to rewatch.

Yeah, there's one more next week, and then nothing til September. I suspect fandom is, collectively, going to lose its tiny mind.

Oh, so you've met a Stephen Moffat story.

There was speculation even last week that the Doctor who died was the Ganger. Can't wait to see all the piece we'll be trying to weave together over hiatus.

Given what they just learned, how is it remotely okay to kill the ganger of Amy? Dammit, show (it's like the Ood, in that way. Remarkably like the Ood, actually)

Well, I think this Amy-ganger was, basically, a live feed of original Amy, not a disconnected living-independantly ganger like the ones in the episode. But yes, it would be much more interesting to have an independant Amy-ganger running around while they hunt for original Amy.
