So I went to the vintage wholesale warehouse again a couple of weeks ago, and while nearly everything I got was for the shop, I did get one thing for me: An Eisenhower Jacket that fit perfectly. Which means that a Middleman (or, actually, Wendy Watson) cosplay is definitely happening at Dragoncon this year.

What else do I need for it? Well, I have a white button-down, but I need a skinny black tie and relatively skinny black pants, both of which I will be thrifting for. And a belt with pouch/holster will be tricky-- that will happen if I find the right pieces, but I will be happy without it. And black boots aren't too hard.

I also want to make a new craft foam armor breastplate, since my old one is too big now. I really want to get an AMCW Night Watch costume together, but I still need a lot of stuff: brown linen or wool pants, tall brown boots, a good leather belt, a brass bell, a truncheon, and a helmet. All I have right now are a cloak and a badge, and my old breastplate. We'll see if it happens.

Other costumes that will be happening again: my Eleven outfit and probably my gas mask'd WWII nurse. And some steampunk, since I have all the pieces I need.

this time with punctuation!

Wendy is the most awesome.

The Watch stuff is making me wonder how good a Fred Colon I'd make. I'm certainly roughly the same shape.
