Also? Looking at my recent book purchases, and. wow. Eclectic.

The Elements of Style, Bird By Bird, a slim little books on fanzines from 1988, A Walk in the Woods, Shakespeare's sonnets, and The Phantom Tollbooth.

Hmph. Sounds like some neighborhood asshats are setting off fireworks. Christ. It's midnight!

Oh wow, The Phantom Tollbooth is my favorite childrens' book ever. My dad just bought me a new copy of the movie 3 days ago! It's fantastic, and so clever. Great buy :)

Love the Phantom Tollbooth. And you know, my mum bought me a copy of The Elements of Style for college, but I've yet to use it. Far more useful is the most recent copy of St. Martin's Handbook, which you can probably find at the school bookstore. :)
