The promo for next week's Angel promises partial nudity and disturbing images. But they made it sound like a bad thing, which was weird.

Oh, well, something to look forward to.

As for tonight's ep... meh. Too much random rescuee, not enought Wes. Fred kicked some ass, though. And Lorne had, what, three minutes of screen time? Why is he even still in the credits? Bah. More Wes, more Lorne, fewer blondes.

And yes, that does include Blondie Bear.

Dude, there was barely any Spike. Barely any anybody really, except almost Fred. Less MotW, fer sure.

Next week, however, looks very Spikey indeed.

I kind of liked the beginnings of subtext punchup: the group mistrust of Gunn, Wesley's implied jealousy of Knox, the burgeoning realisation that they really do have rats in the W&H arras.
