In a complete 180 from my earlier post, I would just like to share with everyone the fact that I straightened my hair tonight, since it's finally cold and dry enough outside that it won't frizz up immediately. I feel very pretty now, having approached Dawn-like levels of hair shininess.

And my goodness, but my hair has gotten long. I wear it braided back so much of the time, I didn't even realize it's past my bra clasp.
