Buffy got snubbed in the Emmy noms a-fucking-gain. Who are the demented crack monkeys that pick who gets nominated? Are they senile, or just deeply moronic? Gah!

"Hush," "The Body," "Once More With Feeling"-- every TV critic in the English-speaking world think these are each thh best episodes of any show for the past three years, but do the Emmy people care? No. Why? Because they're *idiots.*

Soon, the Emmys will be even more meaningless than the Grammys, and Buffy fans the world over will laugh and laugh.

This isn't a judgement on you at all, Holli, but I've never been able to figure out why people care so much about Emmys. It seems to me that there's so much *stuff* on television, and so many politics involved in nominations, that the winners will basically always be Candice Bergen, Kelsey Grammer, Frasier, and ER, or their equivalents. I don't know that an exciting show that's not the X-Files has ever won a major Emmy.

That said, it would be nice if OMWF had gotten *something.*

I know it's silly to be so mad, but I think Buffy deserves the recognition. I really, really think Joss Whedon deserves the recognition, and it's very frustrating to know that he's never going to get it because the Emmy voters are a bunch of idiots.
